Well...the votes are in and it looks like I will just be staying in Kansas! I LOVE making my friends help me move and take me in for a month simply to do it all over again!! [Sarcasm? Why yes, yes it was.] I am hoping to get word from our previous property manager BJ [He's our Scottish night in shining armor!!!] about another house he has been working on. Crossing my fingers that I can start moving into it by mid August!! Yipee!! I'm forever greatful for the amazing friends I've made in this crazy military community but it will feel nice to have my own things out and about again in my own home. <3
Well my workout plan has been brought to a screeching hault with my inability to walk, thus causing a sprained ankle. Couldn't have hurt it in crossfit or Insanity...oh no, that would make too much sense. Instead, I attempted to walk out of the front door and ended up laying on the ground when my ankle gave out. Yep, I am [and always have been/ will be] impossibly clumbsy!! I mean seriously...pretty sure I was born without an equilibrium of any kind! This "incident" happened last week and due to a lifetime of sports I assumed it would be fine so I wrapped it up and played a soft ball game the next day. FAIL. Couldn't go on to play the second game that night but that still wasn't enough to make me stay off of it. Continued to walk on it until I heard a really fun *PoP* sound this weekend and then again on Monday so I left work early and paid a visit to the ER. "One nasty sprain!" he said after x-rays and yanking and twisting and pulling on it. Funny...by the time I got home it was twice as swollen and had started to bruise...should've toughed it out I think! Now I'm on crutches and still have a 15 hour drive ahead of me tomorrow. Good times...these amazing in-laws I have better know how much I love them!! :)

On that note...I'm off to tend to laundry & packing as I hop around like the gimp that I've become!
