Focus!!

Five weeks down and doing pretty good! I have finally finished moving out of the house thanks to three amazing Army wives, a.k.a. Super Mom, Amber no.1, & Jessi!! Still have to think of a way to show them how much I have truly appreciated everything they have done for me...I love having awesome friends!!

Today starts day one of "Focus on Amber" time! I refuse to be referred to as bigger or curvy again unless it is followed by "sexy as hell" so I am going to Crossfit today for my first exposure to torture, I mean exercise!! Amber no.1 has finally convinced me to check it out and my red-headed sister and her mean biceps and amazing results from kettle bells have me more than motivated to get healthy and "look good naked"!! :D

Yes, that means that I will be adding in weight/ inch loss updates to my blog posts so ignore those or my blog in general for that matter if you are bothered by them.

I think it is important to use this time [deployment] to better yourself and your marriage because the fact is that your soldier is away and doing anything and everything to support him/ her from the home front should be a priority whether it is working on your degree so that you can better contribute to the family in the future, being an awesome mom [one day, ::sigh::] to your little one(s) while they cope with missing daddy/ mommy, working like crazy with your budget to make sure that hazardous duty pay he/ she is earning is being used to it's full potential [not to redecorate your house 5 times], or by bettering yourself mentally/ physically/spiritually so that you can be a better wifey or husband...do your part and you'll feel better, I promise.

My goals for the deployment are to make sure he has everything he needs [care packages], knock out as much school as possible while he is gone, tighten our budget so that we are virtually debt free when he returns, and work on myself by getting healthy [for my own happiness as well as to help us start making healthy babies when he comes home...HURRAY for welcome home lovey time!!!]

Heading home [Jessi's living room] to change for Crossfit...wish me luck!! [Insert background music: Eye of the Tiger as I fist pump my way to the car] :D
